Costumer and Makeup Extraordinaire! Salena (“Balls” to her friends) had humble beginnings as a bratty 15 year old who begrudgingly attended her first convention with her Star-Trek loving parents in 2001. By the beginning of the second day, her transformation was complete and she officially joined the “Dork Side” forever.
She has been cosplaying for 9 years with characters primarily from her favorite video games, and attributes conventions to helping her forge life-long friendships and a career path that she never thought possible. Currently, Balls delights in making her own characters come to life with all she has learned through costume making and special effects makeup.
