IN HER OWN WORDS: Rachel Buchman
Hi, I’m Rachel, aka. Luna Selene! I began costuming in 2002 at my first convention, Otakon, as I loved the idea of becoming my favorite characters for a day. Twelve years later and that’s still what drives me to attend conventions and other events! I started with anime costuming, but I’ve since expanded into movies, comics, and TV outfits as well. Some of my favorite anime include Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Lupin III, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and most recently, One Piece. Outside of anime, I’m really into Harry Potter, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, and both Marvel and DC titles. I’m currently based out of Atlanta, GA and attend MomoCon, DragonCon, and Anime Weekend Atlanta. Outside of cosplay, my other passions include fashion, makeup artistry, running, and weight lifting.
