Girls of The Con is excited to showcase an amazing artist, Teayam Tasbihgou who goes by Tea for short. I stumbled across Tea while updating our deviant art profile and fell in love with her sketch work and her style. Tea had this to say about herself..
“Welllll… what can I say? I single-handedly run my own jewellery/accessory label www.sacre-coeur.co.uk. I spend most of my spare time illustrating, drawing, painting and pinning insects. I am also involved in hair design (I make dreads, hairpieces, wigs, hair accessories etc), am a trained taxidermist and a very occasional model and stylist. Basically, I’m whatever the hell I want to be. Besides my creative outlets, I also have a degree in animal biology and ecology. That’s pretty much all any of you need to know.”

We would just like to say thank you to our lovely calendar girls for November 2011, Miss Tina King and Miss Kisha Bertrand. Huge Dr. Who fans, our November girls were among the first to sport the Dalek dresses that have seen many incarnations since at cons all across the globe. The ladies designed and constructed the dresses themselves, including the light up headpieces. Great job, you certainly became trendsetters for a generation of Dr. Who fans everywhere.
